Return & Refund Policy — The RealCart

 

Overview

At The RealCart, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Since all our products are shipped and fulfilled by our logistics partner, Dropdash, please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:

  • The item received is damaged, defective, or broken
  • The item received is wrong (different from what was ordered)
  • The item is missing parts or accessories

⚠️ We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or buyer's remorse.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Products that have been used, washed, or altered
  • Items without original packaging
  • Personal hygiene products (belts, knee braces, health/wellness items) once opened
  • Items reported after 7 days of delivery

How to Raise a Return Request

  1. Email us at support@therealcart.com or use the Contact page on therealcart.com
  2. Include your Order ID, photos/video of the issue, and a brief description
  3. Our team will review and respond within 2–3 business days
  4. If approved, return instructions will be shared — do not ship anything without approval

Refund Process

Once your return is approved and the item is inspected by us:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
  • Refund will be credited to your original payment method or as store credit (your choice)
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement only
  • Once the order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled
  • To cancel, contact us immediately via the Contact page

Damaged / Lost in Transit

  • If your package arrives visibly damaged, take photos immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • For lost shipments, we will coordinate with Dropdash and initiate a replacement or refund after investigation

Important Note

The RealCart acts as the seller of record. All logistics, packaging, and shipping are handled by Dropdash. Return timelines may vary slightly based on Dropdash's processing schedule, which is outside our direct control. We will keep you updated throughout the process.
